The “Earlier” Years
It all started with a Plan.
It was the summer of 2020 during the Covid Epidemic. Bennett, age 9 at the time, convinced his parents into buying a used electric ice cooler after creating an elaborate business plan. His parents were impressed with the effort he put into creating the plan and the level of detail that he had included in it. He sold ice cream around his neighborhood and many other local neighborhoods in the area… including stopping by the Local Police Department to “Thank Them for Their Service” and to give them free Ice Cream as an added Thank You. During this time, he learned Cost of Goods, Top Line Sales, and Total Profit along with Inventory Control and Customer Service. After each business run, He would add up his total sales, subtract the cost of goods, and come up with his total profit in which he separated into 3 Accounts (Save…He’s Saving for College!, Spend, and Give).
After seeing him committed for two summers in a row, We set out on a mission of finding him a better solution for transport and frozen storage. There really wasn’t anything out there, so we had a custom modified mobility scooter made especially for him. Equipped with his new Ice Cream Scooter that can hold 200+ Novelty Ice Creams and travel up to 35+ Miles on a single charge… his business has taken off as he has branched out into Corporate & Community Events, Nursing Homes, Open Houses, Medical Centers, Outdoor Concerts & Movie Nights, Car Shows, the local Neighborhood Pool, and So Much More!
